A free and open world depends on a free and open web.

This December governments from around the world are planning to hold a meeting to re-negotiate the old communications treaty, the problem is that the people who will be attending this secretive meeting are all AGAINST a free and open Internet!

This means that everyone who thinks otherwise have no say! Where is the fairness in that?
If this meeting actually happens the Internet that we know and love today could be gone forever, taken over by government bodies rendering the majority of online content that offers free speech and open creativity banned forever and sites like Facebook and Twitter forced to pay new tolls. This could even give governments the right to ban internet access any time they have the desire to do so.
Stand up to the corrupt governments that get in the way of  a free and open world and let your voice be heard! Google have arranged a petition, allowing EVERYONE to express their opinion and stand  against this unfair agenda.
